The Analytical Chemistry Core (ACC)
The ACC provides access to state-of-the-art Liquid Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) instrumentation and expertise for the analysis of low to intermediate molecular weight compounds including synthetic small molecules, metabolites, and lipids.
The core is an accessible, highly capable, and trusted partner within the greater Harvard Medical School research community. In addition to HMS investigators, the core is open to Harvard affiliated institutions, external academic researchers, and industry users.
Education and Training
The ACC provides training and guidance for users to learn LC-MS data acquisition, analysis and interpretation. Core users, including students, postdocs, and faculty, are able to learn how to design, optimize, and troubleshoot analytical experiments thus facilitating the iterative process necessary to advance discovery.
Staff-Run Services
Expert staff are available for small molecule LC-MS method development, data acquisition, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, targeted and discovery metabolomics, and lipidomics.
