Analytical Chemistry Core
Welcome to the Analytical Chemistry Core (ACC) in the department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School. The facility is focused on serving the needs of investigators at HMS and all the Harvard affiliated Institutions by providing consultation, training and access to shared instruments for the identification, quantitation and screening of small molecules by mass spectrometry techniques.
The facility currently offers training and walk-up access to our instruments: LCMS SingleQuad and our QTOF.
The facility now also offers SERVICES. If you need assistance to run your samples or to develop a new method or would like our staff to run samples and perform data analysis for you, do not hesitate to contact us!! Our services are available on all of facility's instruments: SingleQuad, QTOF and Orbitrap Exploris 120!!
The instruments in the Analytical Chemistry Core are set up for small molecule analysis only at this time. If you are interested in pure protein mass spectrometry analysis, please visit the Thermo Fisher Center for Multiplexed Proteomics or the Taplin Biological Mass Spectrometry Facility both located in the HMS Cell Biology Department.
